PEOPLESBANK PARK
Home of the 2022 United Wiffle®Ball National Championship
The 5,200 seat PeoplesBank Park has been home to the Atlantic League’s York Revolution since the team’s inaugural 2007 season. There are several aspects of the Park that pay tribute to baseball Hall of Fame member Brooks Robinson, who - at 18 years old - began his pro career as a member of the York White Roses of the Piedmont League. A statue of his likeness can be found in the Brooks Robinson Plaza at the home plate entrance to the ballpark and the stadium’s official mailing address is 5 Brooks Robinson Way.
The park’s signature feature is the Arch Nemesis - a 37 foot, 8 inch wall in left field. The wall is six inches taller than Fenway Park’s Green Monster, making it the tallest outfield wall at a professional baseball stadium. PeoplesBank Park also has several unique seating/gathering areas including: a lawn seating area in front of the jumbo video board in left-center,
the Home Run Patio in right field, and the Bullpen Balcony down the first base line.
The On Field Experience . . .
Unique Fields - The tournament fields will take advantage of many of the Park’s unique features, to give each one its own distinct personality. Players will hit into a variety of unique backdrops including the lower bowl seating areas, lawn/video board area, elevated rightfield patio, and the seating area behind home plate.
A pro ballpark experience - Players will enjoy many of the amenities that an upper level minor league park like PeoplesBank has to offer. This includes the stadium video board, public address system, in-stadium beer & food sales, stadium lights, stadium seating, and more to enhance the tournament experience.
Quality equipment & field maintenance - UW is working in concert with the York Revolution groundscrew to deliver the highest quality equipment and field conditions possible. The tournament will make use of York Revolution field supplies (as applicable) and the fields will be maintained throughout the tournament.
